And for some behind the scenes goodness... Here was the calm before the mossy storm!
That's right, there was a LOT of moss glued on. What did I use? Liquid latex! I find that it binds to the material well, as long as the moss is fresh enough. If it's too dry or crumbly, your results may vary! Give it a try sometime!

Do you think he's ready?
Of course he was ready! This was his 5th painting with me, and one of the longest sessions together! That being said, we needed some rest breaks! And snacks!
Truly a memorable journey together, so I'm very thankful it came to be!

for many years i used streamer paper in my work, but lately i love using lights in my work. sometimes its executed well- sometimes it's too much- but it's always fun
