Appreciation Post

Hey everybody. I was just making a token on this rainy Friday and wanted to say some nice things to all of you and lay out some plans for the spring.

First off thanks to all the you who are showing up in the (mostly) Tuesday and Thursday streams. Some of you are newer and some of you have been showing up since the first couple. I appreciate that you guys hang out and make the work go by quicker with the extremely complex and important topics we cover.

I also appreciate all the backers that are supporting my work. I know a lot of you aren't necessarily vocal and that is ok.

Lastly about Spring, I have been debating taking May and June off. June was always going to be an off month but I am considering taking May off as well. I have quite a bit of token work that hasn't been addressed and if I wait til June to do it I will be spending all of June working just to get back into work in July.

If I take May off then I can get new packs together. Create the long thought about Head only packs that will allow more kitbash tokens to be easily created by the end users and several other half-baked sets that need a little loving. Even if I take May off and pause the Patreon, you will still be getting some tasty morsels as I round out certain packs and get them ready for the marketplaces.

In June I may go radio silent and try to store up some creative juice for the second half of the year. That will have to be determined at the end of May. I'm sure that I will still be doing something and I'm sure I will want to share some of those things.

Thanks again for the support and for helping to make the creation of these tokens as enjoyable as it is.

PS I should have March tokens to you early next week.

Comments

Thanks. I should have an update today or tomorrow after I release this month's tokens.

As someone who considers himself an artist, too.. Take your time off, it'll do you good! I know how the creative juices can end up running low, so for me personally I'd rather you take some time to yourself and come back strong- instead of burning out. So whatever you decide, you'll have my support for it.
