Sorry for disappearing for so long, New Year was a mess and I realized that Arcane Hacker was not a novel in a writing style that I am familiar with, so that story will be discontinued and a new story will take its place alongside God of Internet as the serialized novels of this Patreon.
This novel already has 6 thousand words written and in the next few days I guarantee at least 3 daily chapters will be released for you to read, I count on your support!

Theo woke up in a world where monsters constantly invade the Earth and one of the most popular ways for humans to become strong enough to deal with the monsters is through "Games".
"Games" where players are transported to a virtual world and convert the strength, equipment and skills gained to the real world!
Theo's new identity in this world is that of a Game Creator, the creator of these virtual worlds for Players to become stronger.
But the life of a Game Creator is hard, his value is measured based on how many Players play his games, and Theo is the worst Game Creator in the university.
Worried about the future, Theo looked for popular games in this world and realized that they were all extremely boring and tedious.
"To become more powerful, don't I just need to make good games? With so many good games in my memory, can't I just use these ideas to become the Greatest Game Creator?!"
With this in mind, the Greatest Game Creator emerged, scaring all Game Creators and Players around the world.

i will say this the only place that i can. i truly hope this long-wined critique of a fiction i do enjoy can be of help to you. now the premise of your novel is good and can go far but there is one story braking plot hole that no benefit off the doubt can undo. they have cores called game cores yet they cant naturally draw the basic conclusion that making the training more fun would increase engagement. this hole can be looked past if you changed the in universe name from game cores to training cores and then have the isekai of the protagonist be the bridge that lets the mc realize that making training fun works better. there is a slight benefit of doubt in this that a civilization under threat could tunnele vision and not realize that the training cores could be entertainment in themself increasing training efficiency there would have to be retcons but the majority of the story works in this framework vilest making the story more believable maybe the teacher at the school praises the advancement in practices simulations but scolds the mc for making a frivolous game instead of something useful for training but gives him a pass because of the leap forward highlighting the cultural blind side to using the training cores as a way to also have fun. something that would not work if the cores are fucking called GAME CORES. in a world where they call them game cores yet only use them in the most boring ways possible one can only conclude that everyone in that world are idiots.

2025-01-13 10:00:34 +0000 UTCThat's fair, it would be foolish to expect you to continue writing a story when you lost interest in it. It would be harder to get varied reactions to different genre/type of games as compared to different genres/type of manga like in the example I gave.

With this big scope of gaining power the Mc (and I) have a bigger challenge on making the games and different point for the reactions :D

Like some of my favorite parts of the Game Creator in Marvel were people's reactions to his released games and how they played them. Like instead of a world that the games make people stronger couldn't he just write it where some kid out of no where ended up creating a legendary gaming studio that releases great games and how they are changing the market. I recently read a fic called "A Dad's Comic Life", where it shows how a guy just basically raised a dying manga comic company with great works such as 'Steins:Gate', 'Gintama', 'Konosuba', 'Fate series', and 'Madoka Magika' to a status where any works from him is a must read or see and people's reactions to them. The Madoka one was especially hilarious because the MC's daughter was really into magic girls so he wanted to show a different type of magical girl story as a prank to her.
