2023-01-09 00:57:50 +0000 UTCNot only had amiya not killed anyone before Skullshatterer, but Rhodes Island in general operates on a no kill policy as they are a pharmaceutical company at their core and oppose taking lives unecessarily. In the anime so far they've been knocking out or incapacitating enemies with non lethal moves and injuries, and sometimes even healing them back after the fight is over. Also Ch'en stabbing misha being portrayed so confusingly is probably less to do with Oripathy and more with Chinese censorship of more bloody and violent content (we never see someone get directly stabbed, only slashed. It's always slightly out of frame or over a layer of clothes/armor. Season 2 was confirmed at the end of the anime as well as on their official twitter.
