I love seeing more people appreciate Honkai and the effort that goes into the game! If you start playing the game it'd be cool also to post the VODs on Youtube if possible. If not I'll still be interested in watching the streams on Twitch. The in-game cutscenes contain major spoilers it'd probably be best if you react to them as you progress through the game ^^

The context is missing so you aren't understanding what is happening and that is fine. Everyone in the animation with the 13 flame chasers isn't real people. They are just virtual memory of a group of people from the (Previous ERA) in a virtual space(like a simulation). Just imagine SAO full dive , this is exactly that. This isn't too big of a spoilers , but i hope that helps you give enough context to know what's happening and why its a big deal that they are fighting in a weird internet-ish places. I'm not going to explain what's up with why the animation is "serious" , you should either play the game yourself or google it. Every major animation from Honkai is a huge part of the story , they don't just slap random stuff just for the sake of flexing their animation budget lol. Oh and the stuff about the Boba balls in the Boba tea , they are just a condensed sugar ball that taste sweet. Think of jelly , but more condensed and sticky , and sweeter. If you think Boba tea is gross , you should really try 1 out. Its basically sweetened drinks that isn't carbonated. Honkai as of right now have 2 season of cooking anime (with minor spoiler) 10 + 8 ep , 1 season of Elf academy 10 ep (no spoilers just fun , memes , and inside jokes for the game) and lastly an anime for the flame chaser that only has 2 ep , have not checked it out so I don't know about the spoilers. Their run time are pretty short. so its up to you whether if you want to react to it or nah. You can find them from the Hi3 official YT channel playlist.
