I’ve always found it interesting that Blue and Yellow Diamond are dealing with their grief in both the same and opposite ways. They both take their grief out on others, with Yellow wanting to destroy the Earth in retaliation and Blue forcing nearby gems to cry, and yet they’re affected by grief personally in different ways, with Blue clearly mourning and Yellow trying to bury the feeling.

2023-06-26 18:01:35 +0000 UTCJust a random tidbit but when you asked if that one “skinny” quartz had the Pearl voice actor, it was really just Jasper’s voice without doing the gruff thing like how all the taller amethysts talk. The 2 diamonds’ pearls have pearl’s voice actor obviously but she does a really good job sounding distinctive for each one IMO.
