Video Suggestion: Take the viewers to "Forge World School" some newer players might not know what it is, why it was created, etc. :-)

In a few special cases the buffs can do more than stack if they are on the same roll (e.g. Bad Moon/Death Skull Orks shooting). If re-rolling 1s and getting extra rolls on a 6, the buff is greater than 117*117% as you also re-roll the extra rolls on 1s! It's not a lot but could get you that extra wound over the course of a tight game...

Heh. Whoops. Nevermind, then!

Zach

Now everything makes a bit more sense when it comes to these buffs, thanks for clarifying!

It's a percentage change to end damage output, not chance to hit :)

I'm fairly certain that rerolling 1's shouldn't give a full 17% bonus to hit chance. That 17% should be modified by the % hit chance of the rerolls. So, hitting on a 2+, rerolling 1's should be a hit % of the base 83% + (17% × (5/6)), because some of those rerolls will be 1's again. So, starting at hitting on 2's, then 3's, and so on, the hit chance while rerolling 1's should be 96.9%, 77.8%, 58.4%, 38.9%, and 19.5%. When comparing those numbers to the hit chance without rerolls at 2's, 3's, and so on, we see that the bonus to hit chance decreases as the base hit chance decreases.

This is just outstanding.. Talk about hitting the nail on the head with a huge Mathshammer! Great work!

I was only wondering about this recently!
