Detachments in 9th Edition

Same here I just want one with regimental doctrines that I didn't have to spend a cp to give to him

Fingers crossed we don't get the short end of the stick when it comes to baneblades, I just got one a few months ago and it wasn't a competitive option when it didn't cost 3 CP. I just hope that this isn't the reason you can get a Tank Ace regiment trait for your super heavies for 1 CP. More or less, if I need to pay 4 CP and ~500 for an "okay" vehicle, it will go the way of the deathstrike model; which makes me sad because the baneblade looks cool.

I had a thought when I heard about the SUPREME COMMANDER keyword. What if there was a stratagem to give a single HQ unit in your army the keyword, so you could for example, field a Lord Commissar as your supreme commander. After thinking about it a little more, I doubt that will happen as it would be a core stratagem, but then again, gaining an additional relic is not universal, yet every major faction has access to an extra relic for CP. Just a thought I felt I should share.

I'm liking the fortification detachment change. Especially with the new fortifications and the way 9th rewards more measured play and holding of midfield.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Guilliman's points... Not sure if Gaining Combat Doctrines/Codex Discipline/Scions of Guilliman is enough to make his points cost worth it, even if his points stay the same everything else going up will make it harder to fit in such an expensive model without it being quite restrictive.
