I’m loving the new book. Definitely side grades, not nerfs. The old VH/BR auto-list with 3x Retributors 3x Repentia isn’t as efficient but there’s so many more options. I’m playing around with a AS/BR list with a 20 BSS with Storm Bolters marching up the middle with Vahl rerolls and Blessed Bolts strat. Super nasty. BR still murder most things they touch. They only problem I have is with armies that have non LoS shooting. Because keeping Retributors and Repentia in Rhinos means not Command Phase buffs…

2021-07-10 07:46:37 +0000 UTCParagon warsuits are massively overcosted. The Vehicle Keyword alone cripples the unit. The fact that you can only have 3 of them, no more, no less, and the fact that they are 80 points a pop, makes them bad. If you want a good comparison, look up the Centurion suit. 5 points more, twice the firepower, can be healed by an apothecary.

2021-07-09 22:12:33 +0000 UTCI’ve been loving the new codex. It seems like there’s a healthier variety of viable lists now, with some showings at recent tournaments already. The new flamers and Storm Bolter’s have really shined. Also love seeing Celestine in competitive lists being an absolute pain for opponents.

2021-07-09 15:42:12 +0000 UTCI'm having a love hate relationship with sisters atm. The codex does overall feel like a nerf but I love the new sister suits. I love going 2 swords, 2 heavt flammers, with the seargent having a multi melta and mace and having 3x the suits.
