2022-12-14 05:48:00 +0000 UTCA list or discussion on models that really need each other to reach full potential. Maybe a weird or unintended effect two or three models have on each other. They may be weak and overlooked on their own, but something about an odd or weird pairing make them OP.

2022-04-11 15:57:34 +0000 UTCAuspex Tactics, I would love to hear your take on how to evaluate the strength of a list for the purposes of balancing the game with your friends for casual play, such as how to go about assessing homebrew points adjustments so its a fairer contest of generals rather than who has the shiniest units and codex. I have a couple of friends who aspire to play competitive 40k, but the game's competitive state is abysmal right now as you correctly point out in your 40k balance video, and they're a little turned off by 40K as a whole.

I'm not sure if you've already ruled it out/done one, but a video discussing some of the math behind building an army list would be really useful! This would help inform things like what strategems to use, what weapon upgrades, when to use abilities etc

So, "weakness of every army" might also include that. Like "massed bolter fire" seems like it might not be quite what it used to be, maybe.

I can predict what most players would say about how to improve 40K ("balance the game better"). How do we achieve this when GW clearly aren't interested and keep releasing rules that any moderately good player can see are broken?
