Three Rules I'd Change in 40K

Let's talk about some of the rules in 9th that I think could use a tweak...
Saying Celestine is hard to kill is a bit of a stretch, even with AoC she is still T3 and suffers greatly from that against almost every type of weapon.

The terrain rules. They need a good shake up. For instance when I was a tournament last month I couldn’t shoot an enemy because my LoS went over a step into some ruins even though I could see the tail of this thing. How stupid.

For the Adepta Sororitas, that's another reason to take inferno pistols instead, when they're available (not available enough, IMO. Like the Palatine definitely needs some kit options).

Bring back old disgustingly resilient. Make some spells more than once per psychic phase and get rid of wound charts.

Assembling difficulty or some indicator as to how many support options there are would probably help as well, i wasn't expected some boxes to have so many options and it does get overwhelming at times.

The bodyguard rule is my biggest problem with the current rules. The other two are definitely in need of fixing as well.

Sorta unrelated but I feel like Model boxes should have a 'painting difficulty' on the box. And like little paint guides, like what should be painted before being stuck on the models. Because trying to paint this fully assembled knight is not fun

The overcharged plasma pistol kills you on a 1 rule seems quite outdated to me now that most characters have multiple wounds. it seems pretty fluffy to give one to a space marine character, but you would never want to risk deleting a 100pt+ model because of a dodgy dice roll

bodyguard:
i prefere version 3, its the most "realistic" and allows the last gamey things, and since you probably still need "ignore Look out Sir" to shoot them at all makes bodyguards still powerfull

100 % agreed on everything. Points one and two are just mind buggling that they haven't been changed yet. Three is more difficult to get right.

For the first point, many of those units are pretty powerful so I am not too bothered if you give up more points to bring them. I guess it is a feels-bad for those that run those units/armies though.
For the second point, I agree 100%. That rule, as it is now, just kinda sucks. I think I like the 3rd option the most.
Tha third one is a bit odd. Casual games are easy enough, but I couldn't say which is best for competitive.
