Bought 250 25mm to 32mm rings to extend/update opd bases. Blew those in short order so went with 1000 next time. Quite crazy really.

Having played for a long time, the most annoying changes to me have been the dramatic changes to army construction. For example when I started Chaos was a single monolithic faction. Over time they have been split and split repeatedly making what was a single army collection now something like a dozen different armies (Chaos demons of each faction, CSM of each legion, etc.) The upcoming World Eater leaks are a great example, anyone playing World Eaters is about to lose access to huge parts of their model collection for play as the new codex is missing a ton of the options that were present in CSM for World Eater use.

changes that have annoyed me just for the guard the changes to the unit numbers for basalisk, and hell hounds, the loss of veteran squads, conscripts, special weapon squad pluss the named characters, and war gear changes to the squads, sisters incressing the max size of penatant engines and arcos and decreasing the unit size for death cults, and crusaders, make repentia spamible and reduceing the unit size from 19 and putting the mistress in a separate unit and why cant we give our characters jampacks any more as its even easier to do now as everyone is gonna have spares, and dont get me started on marines/grey knights

As a new player who started with orks that joined close to the end of 8th edition, it was real weird to start with a box of boys and the start collecting box and a month or two after, seeing the release of the new boy sculpts and beast snaggas kits.
