I have just recently joined the channel and am planning on getting started. Thank you for the advice.

2023-08-26 17:12:46 +0000 UTCWorst faction for a beginner has to be AdMech. Expensive to buy. Lots of fiddly bits to deal with when painting and building. But I just love the aesthetic and the lore 🥲

2023-06-23 18:51:54 +0000 UTCIf I went back to when I first started, and restricted myself to a single army on a budget. I'd pick knights, personally I'd pick imperial. I could get a good starter army list with 1-2 kits depending what's released at the time, and do modular weapons with magnets. Might even do all the armor attached with magnets or double sided tape, so I can easily strip those and repaint as desired. Game play is super simple. Due to $ budget, maxing the points on them, so get a lot of big guns going down range while stomping or slashing through infantry. Games will be swingy most of the time, but would probably have as much time as money to invest in this, so wouldn't be playing enough for it to get stale or to force anyone at the LGS to feel they need to invest in extra anti-armor units.

2023-05-09 13:49:22 +0000 UTCGot my start with Orks so long ago it hurts to think about. They'll never be the cheapest army to run (although their current Combat Patrol is actually a pretty good box, not least because it offers a look at several different facets of the army that play well together), but they embrace both simple and complex playstyles, and in terms of perspective, they don't feel as punishing to lose with as armies with a more self-serious angle.

2023-05-09 10:46:09 +0000 UTCI got into WH from a double indomitus box of necrons (Was always interested in the lore) and just picked up the Custodes christmas box... >.> guess i like easy armies haha. I do enjoy the fact both factions play fairly differently.

2023-05-08 17:06:36 +0000 UTCAwesome video! Been watching your content for awhile and keeping track of how different factions stack up/ease of entry for each. Custodes seems very appealing for points per model, just waiting to see how they handle subfactions in SM since I was really leaning towards White Scars as well.

2023-05-08 15:46:12 +0000 UTCI’ve been collecting tyranids since around 2005. What I’ve seen of the 10th Ed rules might actually get me to play my first ever game

2023-05-08 13:35:13 +0000 UTCHonestly I personally started with Orks and while they are not the cheapest they did give me the opportunity to be sloppy when painting and in terms of gameplay it is not very difficult figuring out the base concept of stuck in the boys

2023-05-08 10:48:59 +0000 UTCFor the cost and playing the army I would argue Custodes are the best to start for new players. Models cost a lot in game so its cheaper to start and they have some very straightforward rules

2023-05-08 09:48:38 +0000 UTCThanks for this vid, it's actually super helpful for me as get back into the game after I quit along time ago cause I started with Drukhari and then Admech and found it really hard to find any results without all my paper toughness guys just dying.

2023-05-08 09:48:26 +0000 UTCI've actually started my warhammer journey with custodes and am very happy I did. They are extremely forgiving and straightforward to play, not to mention the cost/points and easy color scheme.
