Thanks for clarifying! I did figure out that the black slime thing was the Grail talking but I didn't know about illya being half human. That totally explains why she never grows

2023-12-26 22:03:41 +0000 UTCSome clarifications since idk if it was clear in this episode, Illya is half human half homonculus (artificial human) her mom was an artificial human like the maids and married Kiritsugu who adopted Shirou after the 4th Grail War aka Fate/Zero, so Illya is Shirou's adopted older sister, because of her nature as a half human she can't grow physically but she is 18. The thing talking to Illya was the grail taking the form of her mother, saying anything else would be a spoiler.
