2023年11月の月末報告になります

お題は以下になります。

・11月の振り返りと12月の活動予定

・アンケートと、作品のお題やキャラの決め方について

・fantasfic一旦活動停止

■11月の振り返りと12月の活動予定

１１月はキャラクターの学習を一番頑張りました。

あとストーリーパートの枚数や内容が増加したんですが、作業時間がかかりすぎて後半は息切れしてしまいました。

ちょっと無茶しすぎました。

先月末からイラストの作り方を変更して絵が綺麗になった副作用として、今月から全キャラクターの学習を０からやり直している状況です。

これは１キャラあたりの学習作業に１日前後かかっているのですが、基本的に２日に１つは作品を投稿したいので、制作期間２日のうちの半分近くを持っていかれるのはかなり重たい作業です。どうすれば良いんだって感じです。

限られた制作時間の中で、何を優先して作業するかが大事になってきます。

このような状況なので、先月末にも少し触れた気がしますが、まずは一通りの定番人気キャラクターを学習して回ることを第一目標とします。

それまではストーリーやセリフを削ったり、時間がかかりすぎる構図は控えるような工夫も必要そうです。

11月～12月で２０～３０キャラクターくらい作ると思うので、それくらい学習済のストックが貯まれば余裕が生まれそうです。

なので１２月の活動は以下な感じになると思います。

・１１月に引き続きキャラクターを綺麗に学習し直してストックを増やす

・時間がかかって投稿ペースが落ちたら、ストーリー、セリフ、構図などを工夫して制作時間を短縮した作品で投稿ペース回復を目指すと思う

順調にいけば来年１月からは学習済みなキャラが多くなるので、より凝った作品が作れる体制が整ってきます。

今月は３Pのような作るのに時間がかかりすぎる構図がほぼ作れませんでしたが、これもキャラクターがストックされて来たら色々作りたいと思ってます！

１２月は少し優しい目で頂けたら助かります。

■アンケートと作品のお題やキャラの決め方について

久しぶりにキャラクターのアンケート投票をやります！

まぁこれまでのアンケートで大体の傾向は見えているのですが、新しく入って頂いた支援者の方も多く居ますし、

しばらくやってなかったので実施したいと思います。

ちなみに、アンケート結果が反映されているかどうか、皆さんはどう感じているでしょうか？

今回は作品を作る際の、どのキャラクターにするかとお題の決め方について書いてみようと思います。

まず大前提として、１ヶ月の中での全体のバランスは見ています。

そして、自分はストーリーやセリフ付きだったり、自分でキャラクターを学習させたりと凝った作業をしている関係で、

投稿できる作品数には限りがあります。それを踏まえると、いわゆるサブキャラクターには中々手が回っていない現状があります。

よって、どのキャラクターの作品を作るかについては、世間での人気定番キャラクターとアンケート結果で票数が多いキャラクターを中心にしつつ、

自分の趣味で作る枠と、今放送しているアニメ作品など旬な作品の枠も少しあるようなバランスにしています。

これまでの例でいうと

・世間での人気定番キャラクター（pixiv twitter 二次創作で人気な作品）

・過去アンケートで票数が多い作品やアンケート結果から作った作品

こんな感じでしょうか。

フリーレンのアウラ様は乗っかるかちょっと悩みました。

ストーリーやシチュエーションのお題に関してはネタ帳があります。

思いついたらメモして貯めてる感じですね。

最近メモしたのは「産婦人科、古手川」とかですね。一体どんなストーリーになるんでしょうか…

大体こんな感じで、

アンケート結果と、いいねなどの皆さんの反応やpixivのブックマーク数などから

みんなが見たい作品を予想しつつ、ネタ帳と照らし合わせながら

作る作品を決めてます！

あ、あと１つ大事なことがありました。

自分の作品はストーリーや会話があるのですが、これは結構な気合とモチベと集中力がないと作れないです。

なので、自分のあまり知らないキャラやその時に気分が乗らないキャラが作られることがほぼ無いです。

一応、月の初めに計画を立ていて、作るキャラクターに関しては仮予定表を作っています。

ただ実際はリアルタイムにどんどん変更されていくので、半分以上は当初の予定と変わります。

そんな感じなので、アンケートにおいては定番キャラクター以外の作品を見たい人ほど、票をしっかりと入れて頂けると良いのかなと思います。

※毎日投稿ではないため作れる作品数が限られており、票が入ってても作れないorすごく後になることも多々あります、ご了承ください。

■fantasfic一旦停止

現在もう１つの日本の支援サイトであるfantasficのサイトの決済システムが停止する事態になっています。

公式の対応を見ている限り、すぐには復活しそうにないので、一旦活動停止になるかと思います。

今後については１２月は様子見かなと。

１月に入ったくらいで世間の様子を伺いつつ、他に主流になった支援サイトがあればそこに便乗すると思います。

fantasficが復活しそうであれば、fantasficでの活動を再開します。

いずれにせよ、Patreonを軸にしつつ、何かしら２つ目の支援サイトを用意すると思います。

保険にもなるので、２つは支援サイトがあるとリスク分散が出来てて良いなと今回の件でも改めて思いました。

この件の問題点として、Discordに入りたいけど入れない人が、少なくとも１２月は支援して閲覧する方法が無くなることがあります。

この対応として、Patreonで支援した後にPatreonで自分にメッセージをくれた人には閲覧リンク（とPremium Tier以上の人はそれに合わせたDLリンク）をメッセージで送るようにしたいと思います。

In November, we worked hardest on AI learning of characters.

Also, the number and content of the story part increased, but the work took too much time and I ran out of breath in the second half.

I was a little too reckless.

As a side effect of the change in the way of making illustrations at the end of last month, which made the pictures more beautiful, we are starting AI learning of all characters from zero again from this month.

This is taking around one day per character for the AI learning process. Basically, I want to submit one work every two days, so it is a very heavy task to take almost half of the two days of production time. I feel like I don't know what to do.

With limited production time, it is important to prioritize what to work on.

Since this is the situation, I think I touched on it a bit at the end of last month, but my first goal will be to go around learning AI for a set of standard popular characters.

Until then, we will need to cut down on stories and dialogue and refrain from compositions that take too much time.

I expect to make about 20-30 characters in November-December, so once I have that amount of AI-learned stock accumulated, I will have more time to spare.

So my activities in December will be as follows.

Continue to cleanly relearn AI characters from November and increase the stock.

If the pace of submission slows down due to the time it takes, I think I will try to recover the pace of submission with works that require less production time by working on the story, dialogue, composition, etc.

If all goes well, from next January we will have more AI-learned characters, so we will be in a better position to create more elaborate works.

This month, I almost couldn't create compositions that take too much time to create, such as 3P, but I would like to create various types of compositions once I have a stock of AI-learned characters!

I would appreciate it if you could be a little gentler in December.

■About the survey and how we decided on the subjects and characters for the works

It's been a while since I've done a character survey!

Well, we have seen the general trend in the past surveys, but there are many new supporters who have joined us,

We have not done this for a while, so we would like to do it again.

By the way, how do you feel about whether the results of the survey are reflected or not?

This time, I would like to write about how to decide which character and theme to use when creating a piece of work.

First of all, as a basic premise, I look at the overall balance within a month.

And due to the fact that I am doing elaborate work, such as with stories and dialogues, or learning the characters myself,

There is a limit to the number of works I can submit. Given this, I have not been able to work on the so-called "sub-characters" as much as I would like.

Therefore, I will focus on popular characters and characters that have received a large number of votes in surveys as to which characters I will create,

I try to keep a balance between my own taste and seasonal works, such as anime that are currently being broadcast.

I guess it's like this.

Aura of Freelen wasn't sure whether to make it or not.

I have a story book for story and situation themes.

Whenever I think of something, I write it down and save it.

The latest one I wrote down was "Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kotegawa. I wonder what kind of story it will be...

It's roughly like this,

Based on the results of the survey, your reactions such as likes, and the number of bookmarks on pixiv

I'm trying to predict what people would like to see in the stories, and then comparing them with my story book.

I then compare the results with my storybook and decide what I want to create!

Oh, and one more important thing.

My works have stories and conversations, which require a lot of energy, motivation, and concentration to create.

So there is almost never a character that I don't know much about or that I'm not in the mood for at the time that gets made.

I make a plan at the beginning of each month, and I have a tentative schedule for the characters I will create.

In reality, however, things change rapidly in real time, so more than half of the time, things change from the original plan.

So I hope that the more people who want to see works other than the standard characters, the more solidly they will vote in the survey.

Please understand that the number of works we can make is limited because we do not post every day, and we may not be able to make a work even if it has been voted for.

■fantasfic temporarily suspended

The payment system of fantasfic, another Japanese support site, is currently suspended.

As far as we can tell from the official response, it does not look like it will be restored anytime soon, so we think it will be temporarily suspended.

As for the future, I think we will have to wait and see in December.

I think we will wait and see how the world is doing in January or so, and if there are other support sites that have gone mainstream, we will take advantage of them.

If fantasfic seems to be coming back, we will resume our activities on fantasfic.

In any case, I think we will prepare some kind of second support site while keeping Patreon as our axis.

This case also reminded me that it is good to have two support sites to diversify the risk, as it also serves as an insurance policy.

One problem with this case is that people who want to join Discord but can't will have no way to support and view it, at least for the month of December.
