Here some context
Image 5: The refined sketch. It could have some imperfection, no need to be line-art.
Image 6: Each different color represent a different layer. Separate the image in as many part needed to make it easy to paint.
Image 7: Shaded image using "multiply" and "screen" over each part.
Image 8: Flat colors + colored lines.
Image 9: Shade over flat colors.
The next step is yet to come, I will merge each part and carefully paint over them adding details to take out all the lines and contours. Of course accessories and important body part will be added too -w-

2022-07-23 16:09:26 +0000 UTCIt's almost the same. I prefer to do it over the colors, but I like to try different ways. Doing it over no colors force you to think more on volume, like an exercise.
