Going back to digital from working mainly traditional for the last months has had me take on some elements in my digital work differently. Now, of course, this comic will eventually be done ALL traditionally. The middle panel you see blank here, that'll have traditional line art with digital colour. The comic pages from hence forth will creep in traditional elements until the comic is left only in that medium.
I've mentioned it before, but I want this comic to show off my artistic progress. While I tickled the idea of redoing earlier pages so that the art style is more refined, on top of fixing some novice narrative choices, i just found that exiles the comic from emulating my own growth. Like all my work, I don't want Bare Paws to be absent of any part of my self. I want my progress shown. It makes the setting it's own character and further saturates the overall narrative I want to express in this novel.
Other comics I have ***planned (asterisks because they are really just ideas flowing around in my head, no concrete scripts. PLUS, i want to finish BARE PAWS FIRST, I want to actually finish a project lmfao.) while are going to be done traditionally, will ultimately jump around the timeline of Bare Paws. Toi Omokage 遠い面影, which is the most of the few I have fleshed out aside from Bare Paws. Follows a story between Koozo and Elias.
