28-31: The cost rises

The attacking Stormtroops, focused single-mindedly on their mission, know better than to pause in the assault to give succour to the wounded. They are at the walls of the enemy settlement, though it has cost them dearly to fight their way there. There is no time to comfort the dying: Victory must come first!
