springtime plans

To let you all know what is in store for me in the coming months, here's a little peek into my plans:

- January: Palm Springs with family: Jan 10-24. It's infrequent that I get the opportunity to spend time with my family, and even less so that it takes place in warm locales, so I'm really excited about this trip in particular. I'm going to spend time hiking and longboarding in the Mojave Desert, too, a dream I've wanted to realise for more than 5 years. :) I'll be taking this time to reflect, relax, and discuss with those whose opinions I treasure what their advice might be on how to better manage my stress related to work. Work/life balance, man. It's important to really get a grip on, but in ten years I have never had it wound up the way it should be. Time to fix that issue, methinks!

- February: I'll be looking to implement changes and utilise the tools that I have been presented with in order to streamline my workflow. You know what they say: work harder, not more. This will be a great month for content!

- March: MEXICO! Kristia Jovanovic and I are headed to Playa Del Carmen to stay in three really rad condos for a few days each to shoot tons of content and behind-the-scenes nonsense for our subscribers! She's about the same height as me, so we will be doing lots of duos (!!!) as well! I don't have any travel plans quite figured out, but I will be available to travel for work to any large metropolitan areas where there's a good market within North America. (Hit me up!!) It appears that California, Florida, Texas and New Mexico are on my radar for bookings, so let's discuss, yea?

- April: This month will be super bittersweet. I'll be selling a great deal of my clothing and wares in order to downsize as I prepare to move back across the country to Toronto. I miss home. I miss my friends and my dogs, my parents. The hiking trails and the beaches and the fact that other huge cities are just hours away! I have always felt so isolated here in BC because Seattle was the only big city nearby and even it kind of feels like a sweet little town in comparison to Chicago, NYC, Montreal. You know? Looking to buy a house for investment purposes and get a bit settled. More work, more content, more travel, more awesomeness!

- May: make the drive across the country! I'll likely be hitching a trailer to the back of my F-150 and just driving across! This makes me super excited and nervous at the same time, but that's what I've needed and wanted for years now. It's going to be great!!! A whole new adventure. :)

So there you have it! My springtime plans and how they may affect Patreon. Honestly, I see this all as being hugely positive for you as the consumer and me as the creator! Streamlined workflow so I can ensure you always have interesting posts lined up is never a bad thing. :)
