Tonight I am surrounded by family and friends and truly feel at home. This was the first year that I was able to buy the gifts I wanted to buy and actually got them into the mail on time to ensure they arrived to the recipients before Christmas morning. Christmas has always stressed me out because the people I care for are worth more than gold, and I wanted to give meaningful, thoughtful gifts to show them how much I cherished their company. I realise, of course, that spending time with those I love is the best gift of all, but I live halfway across the country from my parents and sister, and so it truly is difficult to show them I care in the traditional way I wish I could! I'm looking forward to them cracking open the box I sent their way and doing the same on my end... I feel really good this year about things. :)

It is my hope that you, too, are surrounded by loved ones and plenty of baked goods, but if you are not, know that you're important and deserve all the happiness in the world regardless. <3
