Added 2018-09-01 05:47:58 +0000 UTCAfter months of following and becoming an enormous fan of Zachary Gisterak's, I was fortunate to book with him on my first trip to New York City! I was nervous upon arrival - he had worked with some of my favourite models, and I was feeling like I couldn't really hold my own like I wanted to at the time... but there I was outside his door.
I was working through all that stupid emotional stuff in that moment, and can credit Zach with helping me tough through my self-doubt. He allowed me to be weird and dark and express some stuff that had been boiling just below the brim: anxieties and anger; peace and conflict. It was all there, but far lessened the next day.
I'm so grateful to Zach for allowing me to express myself so wholly so that I could heal. I can't wait until I find myself on his doorstep again.
