January: New Year, New Who?

Happy January, Patreon friends!

I have done very little in the way of talking about my memories of 2018 or goals and resolutions for 2019 this year. Why? Meet Tucker, my family's 9-week-old black lab puppy. He's a quiet little guy... but a total terror.

Ever since he joined our family one week ago, we have barely had any time where we are not actively up chasing him around. I'm averaging 7000 steps a day JUST around the house (I've barely left). I will have to go to a coffee shop tomorrow in order to have peace, quiet, and a chance to fall into a rhythm for photo editing and updating. I've been hesitant to do so because that means my parents (who are retired) have to take on all of the responsibilities of keeping up with the little pup.

But I need to get back to business, so leave I must for a few hours. :)

On the topic of my goals for this year, they include having less outdated responsibilities in order to focus on the things that really matter on my current path, and so, tomorrow I will be officially closing my business as a makeup artist. I've been putting that act off for some time with just being busy with modeling, however I do need to make it happen... so I'm committing to cancelling my business number, my tax profiles and so on tomorrow so that I can be a better model and photographer this year. Out with the old, in with the new... something like that, right? I'll be looking into the possibility of finding an agent for my modeling and acting work this year! Exciting! I've got a lot of getting to know myself to do in the next year though... but I'm super excited and ready for the challenge!

Here's to cleaning out the rubbish in my brain's attic, and to a prosperous, exciting and artistically fulfilling 2019!
