PS1: Yes, the picture is a reference to "Girl with a Pearl Earring" from Johannes Vermeer. Who could it be in the story? -w-
PS2: The tea cup is a reference to "Saint Seiya Shinku no shonen densetsu" Athena and Abel scene. Probably now it will pass as a minor detail, but it was part of a delete scene from the scrip I took off to not make the chapter too long.
