DRAGONBALL Z Silver Age - Chapter 2 - Gohan Goes to Highschool - COMPLETE
Added 2025-04-13 15:43:59 +0000 UTCA timeline branching off from the Golden Age timeline immediately after Gohan and Cell's battle. A proper rewrite of the Dragonball Z story.
Author's Note: Okay, this is gonna confuse people if I don't make this clear, so please read the following, as this is important.
Golden Age is my main story, which is a celebration of all things I love from media- manga, anime, comics, movies, etc- all put into one fanmanga.
However, after doing the math, it's going to take me YEARS to get the story moving from its current arc to the end of Z. Don't worry, it's gonna keep going. It's my main timeline after all, and where I have the biggest investment in.
THIS timeline, which I am dubbing Silver Age, is gonna cut out all the extra fat I've given the Golden Age timeline (all my original arcs, original ideas, the Reina subplot, the Android 21 subplot, and the Man in Black subplot), and just stick to the Dragonball lore as we know it.
It means I'll be able to get to the main issue I wanted to fix, which was Gohan in the Buu Saga, because the canon Gohan in that arc was an abomination and a poor example of how to carry on a hero's journey coherently.
Basically THIS chapter follows immediately after Golden Age's Chapter 1 Prologue, which you can find attached below if you haven't read it.

While writing allows for quicker progress, working on a comic all by yourself presents a whole new set of challenges. Also, in terms length of a single arc, Kishimoto was absolutely was right when he told Kohei Horokoshi (My Hero Academia) to always expect arc to be longer than you originally estimated.
