Well, I've definitely made progress with this one.
A what-if timeline where Gohan continued his training after his battle with Cell in order to remain prepared for the next unforeseen threat. This version of the story sticks closer to the canon as written by Akira Toriyama, but with the changes you'd expect from this Gohan taking this path.
It also does away with ALL the extra content I'm cramming into Golden Age. So if you want a more traditional Dragonball experience - THIS is it.
And the best part about it, I can reuse the Prologue from Golden Age, since the timeline branches off from Golden Age immediately after the first chapter.
