__________
Naomi stood at the doorway of /Henson’s Hideaway/, a popular nightclub in her new town. Boy, this place was crowded. Was she sure about this? The possum quickly moved away from the doorway as people approached, and stood off to the side instead.
She looked at the invitation in her purse one last time. It was given to her by her new coworker, Eddie, a charming fox who liked to encourage everyone to “just relax, y’all,” as he put it. Apparently he always invited new coworkers out for a drink, which was kind of him, Naomi supposed.
She put the invitation back in her purse, and took a deep breath. Then, she resolutely walked inside the crowded Hideaway.
The possum looked around the place. There was a bar on the other side of the room, with a huge crowd of dancing people separating her from it. Great. How was she—
“Naomi!” a familiar voice called. She turned at the sound of her name, and spotted Eddie, walking up to her with a drink in hand.
“Hi!” Naomi said nervously.
“Well hello there,” the fox said, speaking in his soft Southern dialect. “Care for a drink? Follow me.”
She walked with Eddie around the partiers (so there was a way around—thank God) to a bar, where a nice-looking seal served drinks. “What would you like?” Eddie asked, waving the bartender over.
“I’ll have vodka,” Naomi said. The bartender nodded, and soon enough, her drink was served. The possum sat on one of the nearby stools and took a sip.
“So, how have you been adjusting to our little town?” Eddie asked, sitting next to her.
Naomi shrugged. “It’s alright. It’s a nice place! Just a bit confusing sometimes. I’ve gotten lost a lot.”
The fox laughed. “I hear that. It was hard for me too, when I first came here.”
“Yeah?” the possum asked.
Eddie nodded. “Wasn’t easy moving up to this town. But I learned to get by. I’m sure you’ll learn that too—you got the strength for it.”
Naomi blushed. “Thanks.”
For the next few hours, the two chatted about everything: hobbies, their shitty jobs, coworkers, the nightclub (“Who is Henson, anyway?” Naomi asked). When it was all over, when the conversation was winding down and the partiers were leaving, Eddie made his move.
“What do you say we head back to my place?” the fox asked, giving Naomi a smile. “We don’t have to do anything, but you’re a nice gal, and I’d love to spend some more time with you.”
“Um. . .” Naomi frowned. Could she really trust this fox? She put her hands in her pocket and felt her cell phone inside. If anything happened, she could always call someone—the police, if necessary—to come help. And she /did/ want to hang out more with this fox. . .
“Ok,” the possum said, smiling back at Eddie. “Let’s go.”
And that’s how they ended up at Eddie’s apartment, both of them stripping next to his bed. Naomi stepped out of her boots, then took off her shorts, leggings, and hoodie. She turned to Eddie and blushed—the fox was already completely naked! He turned toward her with a casual smile.
“Go ahead, finish,” he purred. “I want to see all of that beautiful body of yours.”
Naomi nodded. She took of her bra first, then her underwear. From the glow in Eddie’s eyes, he liked what he saw, and the possum smiled.
“You look delectable,” the fox said, walking toward her. “Look up for me, won’t you, darlin’?”
Naomi obeyed, and tilted her head upward. Eddie stopped in front of her, and to her surprise and confusion, he reached out and took off her glasses.
Then he opened his mouth, and shoved her face into his maw.
Naomi squeaked in surprise as a drooling cavern suddenly surrounded her, and Eddie’s mouth panted on her. She moved to pull her head out, but as she did, the fox shoved her back inside with his hand, and then swallowed.
The possum cried out as her head slammed into a tight, terrible cavern. Her head was completely stuck inside it; she couldn’t move her face at all! But her arms were still outside, so maybe she could—
/Gulp!/ Eddie swallowed again, and Naomi’s face was shoved in deeper, and her breasts entered his mouth. The fox sampled them, licking her nipples one by one, before sending them down with her. Each swallow sent her closer to her doom, and the throat pushed her ever downward.
The fox sucked at Naomi’s belly, then pushed it inside him with a /gulk!/. As she went downward, her snout slipped from the tight throat, into a spacious place. She couldn’t see it yet, but she /could/ smell it: acid and rotten meat filled her nose, and she cringed. Shit, this had to be the stomach.
The possum struggled again, trying to somehow twist her way up and out of this mess, but Eddie held her firm. In fact, she could hear him laughing as she squirmed, his maw dancing as he giggled around her ass. “Can’t get out of this, sweetheart,” the fox said, his voice muffled by the meat in his mouth. “Might as well give up~.”
He swallowed again, and Naomi’s full head was shoved into the stomach. Now that her ears weren’t stuck in the throat anymore, she could hear the belly’s gurgles and growls as she descended toward it. “No . . . no . . . please,” she whimpered as her snout was pushed toward the bubbling acid at the bottom of the belly, and writhed some more in desperation. But she was too far in, and the fox was too strong. It was over.
Eddie lapped up the possum’s meaty legs, gulping them down with the rest of her, bit by bit. When he reached her ankles, the fox lifted a hand, and pushed them inside his mouth, tasting every inch of that delicious meat. Then, he swallowed the last bite, and sent it down into the stomach.
Naomi was forced to curl up as the rest of her body descended into the belly. Her form caused the stomach to balloon outward, creating a visible bulge that made Eddie smirk. The possum sniffled and hugged her legs to her body, already feeling her feet and butt tingle as the stomach acid rose.
“You were delicious, darlin’,” Eddie said, smacking his stomach and jostling the prey inside. “Never had possum before, you’re my first. You should be honored.”
“Why?” Naomi whispered, whimpering as the acid came higher, up toward her hips. “Why did you trick me?”
“Well, fox’s gotta eat,” Eddie said. “And you looked like a pure delight. You’re not the only tasty fella I’ve taken from that club—but /your/ flavor was something special.” He tasted the last of it on his lips, then lay down on the bed, smiling at the sight of his belly bulge. “Shame prey only lasts one trip.”
Naomi felt the perspective shift as Eddie lay down; now she was on her side, and the acid moved there too, rising halfway up her body. She shivered when the fox called her prey, but wasn’t that all she was now? Food for a hungry fox. Fuel for a predator. She hugged her knees tighter, and accepted her fate.
Eddie relaxed on the bed, listening to his stomach as it grumbled around the possum. Soon it would claim her, break her down into nutrients. But until that happened, he was going to enjoy every second of her digestion.
The acid reached Naomi’s face; it was getting harder to breathe in here. Naomi took one last breath from her mouth as the stomach acid overtook her completely. It utterly surrounded her, taking her breath and stinging on her fur, digging into her as it started the process of breaking her down.
Mercifully, she passed out before that process truly began.
Eddie felt his prey slump in his stomach, and smiled. Good—he liked strugglers and all, but he really wanted a relaxed dinner today. That’s why he had targeted Naomi: the shy ones always went down easily.
He leaned against a pillow, and watched his growling stomach. This was going to be a nice, long night.
