Nero had always dreamed of meeting a dragon.  Today, the serf would get his wish.
The serf was working his lord’s field, toiling the dirt.  As he sowed seeds, a massive shadow came overhead, and blocked out the sun.  He turned around and looked up—that’s when he saw it.
An enormous dragon was flying through the air!  It was a massive beast, with a wingspan the size of a house—no, it had to be the size of a /castle/.  Its brown and copper scales glinted under the sunlight as it flew, roaring.  As Nero watched, the dragon let out a loud and dangerous /roar!/, bellowing into the sky as the people below screamed and ran.
He thought the beast would release a fireball and set the village ablaze.  But instead, it circled around for a moment longer, then it flew over to a nearby hill, perching on the peek.  The dragon was still watching the village, as if waiting for something—but what?
“Thank God you’re here!” Nero heard behind him.  He turned around to see the people in the village—serfs, peasants, and rich folk alike—surrounding a knight on horseback, a bearded fellow with long brown hair.  His horse was a rich brown color, and it let out a confident /neigh!/  “Please, great knight, can you save us from that dragon?” one of his fellow serfs asked.
“That I can, good citizen!” the knight said, puffing out his chest.  “I am Bowen, knight of the Old Code, a dragon slayer with many victories.  But know my services don’t come free, or cheap.”
“But we barely make enough to survive around here!” Nero’s master exclaimed.  “What can we possibly use to pay you?”
“Well . . .” the knight said, scratching his chin, “I suppose one of your daughters would make a fine prize.”  At that, the master’s three daughters ran to their father, and stood close to him.  Knight Bowen smirked.  “Dragons are partial to sacrifices, I hear, particularly maiden ones.”
“Did you say sacrifices?” Nero said.  Everyone turned to the lowly serf in surprise.
“Yes,” Knight Bowen said hesitantly.  “I did.  Why, boy?”  He laughed loudly.  “Do you have a sacrifice in mind.
Nero nodded.  “Yes, I do.  Me.”
Surprised murmurs and whispers rippled throughout the crowd.  The knight started to sweat.
“I’ll do it,” Nero said resolutely.  “I’ll be the sacrifice.”
Everyone became silent at the proclamation.  Then, someone cheered, and soon, the village was roaring.
“Now hang on just a second—”  But before Bowen could argue any further, Nero was scooped up by the zealous crowd, and dumped to a nearby cart.  Someone brought a poll and forced it into the cart so that it stood up straight.
“Tie him to it!” his rich master cried, and at his command, someone grabbed Nero’s wrists and forced them around the poll, then tied a thick rope around his hands.  Nero pulled, but he could not break free—he was trapped.  This was getting more and more thrilling.
“Bring him to the field!” another person cried.  And so, Nero was wheeled there on the bumpy cart, brought across the village, the cart not stopping until it reached the center of the farmland he had been toiling earlier.  Everyone was so preoccupied preparing the sacrifice, nobody noticed that the knight slipped away.
Nero looked up at the sky, and his eyes found the hill peek the dragon was resting on.  His heart was pounding excitedly.  He was finally going to meet a dragon, and actual /dragon/!  And hopefully, that would lead to something even better. . .
A loud roar echoed in the distance.  Nero looked up at the hill peak again to see the dragon shifting about, and after a moment, it spread its wings and flew down to Nero, its flight loud and fast.
The human couldn’t help but cry out as the speeding beast came toward him.  Excitement filled him as the dragon came closer and closer.  First it was high in the sky, then down by the mountains, then below them, then almost at the field—and then, finally, it arrived!  When the dragon reached Nero, it didn’t stop to evaluate the sacrifice: it simply stretched out its feet and grabbed the cart from the sides.
For a split second Nero was still on the ground, still attached to a surface.  But then, the dragon began to fly off, and Nero went off the ground: first in inches, then in feet, then in meters.  The village first became a large blob, then a tiny speck in the distance as the dragon flew off with him.  It grew colder and colder as they ascended, and as they came up to the clouds, the wind whipped past the human at chilling speeds.
For a long time, the dragon flew.  Nero considered asking it where they were going, but decided against it.  The dragon couldn’t answer him, after all—and besides, he very much wanted to be surprised.  He was, he had to admit, very excited to find out the destination.
Finally, the dragon stopped flying forward, and it and Nero began to descend back to earth, going toward a bodywater.  For a while the river was nothing but a line within patches of green, but as they came closer it grew bigger, and became more fully defined.  The dragon swooped into a cave inside a waterfall and placed the cart onto the ground, landing a few feet away from it.  For a moment it was dark in the cave, but then the beast lit up a log with its fiery breath, and Nero could see.
He almost wished he hadn’t, though.  The place was littered with skeletons, bones of long-dead men, and the human cried out in fear.  “Don’t be afraid,” the dragon said, surprising Nero entirely—it could /speak/?  “Those are the remains of dragon slayers, those who wished to kill me.”  He gave Nero a glare.  “If /you/ do not wish to seek my life, you won’t be among them.”
He reached out with one claw, and cut Nero’s ropes.  “I do apologize for that,” the dragon muttered.  “I and the knight have an . . . understanding, you see.  Sacrifices were not supposed to be involved.”
“So . . . you’re with the knight?” Nero asked as he stepped off of the cart, and hopped into the floor of the cave.
The dragon nodded.  “That’s right. I cause a ruckus, and he collects coin for ‘slaying’ me.”  He sighed.  “Though the fool had to run his mouth and mention sacrifices—other people weren’t supposed to be involved.”
The beast looked down at Nero.  “Bowen told me to eat you so we could get rid of the evidence.  But humans are not part my diet.”
“I wouldn’t mind it,” the human said, blushing.
The dragon raised an eyebrow.  “Wouldn’t mind /what/?”
“If you ate me,” Nero, looking up at the creature.
The dragon let out an amused laugh.  “How very interesting,” it said, cracking an smile.  “And why is that, pray tell?”
“Well. . .” Nero walked up to the dragon and touched his scales, running his fingers along that scaly hide.  “You are /amazing/.  A beautiful creature, handsome as anything, greater than most of the Earth’s animals.  And I’ve always wanted to be surrounded by greatness.”
The dragon laughed.  “I see.  What interesting logic.”
Nero took a few steps back from the dragon.  Then he reached down and threw off his shirt, letting it land on the floor of the cave.  The dragon watched the human, transfixed thanks to the many compliments.  Nero took of his pants, and removed it with his undergarments.  Now the man was completely and utterly naked.  He was ready to be food.
If the dragon would have him.  The beast looked thoughtful for a moment.  “You’re quite determined, aren’t you,” he said.  “Let me think here. . .”
There was a long pause.  Then the dragon said, “Well, I am /an/ apex predator, you know.  And /you/ are a bite-sized little thing.”  He smiled, showing off his sharp teeth.  “Perhaps nature intended my kind to consume humans.  So very well.  I will consume /you/, and grant your request.”
“Wait,” Nero said.
“Yes?” the dragon said, raising his eyebrow.  “Are you changing your mind?  That would be a shame; you’ve already made me so hungry.”
“Not at all,” Nero said, speaking without hesitation.  “Before you eat me, I just want to know my predator’s name.”
The dragon laughed.  “Very well.”  He looked down at the human.  “My name is Draco, boy.  And who are you?”
“Nero.”
“Nero, ay?”  Draco smiled.  “Well, you are not Nero any longer.  Now, you are just my food.”
Draco bent down in front of his meat, and after a moment, he opened his mouth, revealing a drooly, cavernous maw to Nero, a hungry mouth eager for this new food.  Before Nero could react, he was scooped up by the maw and thrown inside, popping down back-up on top of a massive tongue.
“What a flavor,” Draco muttered, rumbling his prey inside.  He let his tongue lavished the meat within, licking it all over.  He went from Nero’s head and neck, down to his back, to the human’s ass, and then his legs.  Then Nero was flipped over and licked further: his face and chest were prodded by the demanding tongue, and then the dragon lapped up the penis and legs.  No part of the meat was left untouched.
Nero moaned happily as the dragon tasted him, and Draco rumbled with contentment.  “Boy,” the dragon said, his speech slurred thanks to his full mouth, “you are absolutely delicious.”
Nero, on his part, was enjoying the oral massage very much—and he was very aroused by it.  He moaned as Draco prodded his dick, and as the dragon turned him back toward the throat, he couldn’t take it anymore.  “Please,” he gasped as the tongue licked over him, “/please/, swallow me!”
Draco smiled.  “As you wish, my little morsel,” the dragon said.  He flipped the human so that Nero’s head was facing outside, and then pushed Nero further into the back of his mouth.  For a moment his feet tickled the back of the dragon’s throat, but then the beast swallowed with a loud /gulp!/
The human glimpsed the light one last time, seeing reflections of the fire on the cave wall, all framed by the dragon’s teeth.  Then, with a gulp, he was shoved downward, into a tight, constricting throat.
Outside, he made a bulge in Draco’s chest, and the dragon chuckled as he felt the human travel down, down to the stomach.  There, Nero made no bulge, and he landed in the comfortable stomach with a sigh of pleasure, feeling the moist, pressured walls around him.  Stomach acid began to rise.
And then, the human faded into darkness.
__________
Nero groaned and sat up.  What had happened.  He was with a dragon, and had been eaten by it, right?  Or was that all just a dream.
“Hello there, human.  I see you’re finally awake.”
A tongue landed on Nero’s back, making him sigh with contentment and relief.  “So, it wasn’t a dream,” he said happily, feeling the dragon’s hand underneath him.
“No dream,” Draco said, smiling and continuing to lick.  “And I must say, you made quite an impression around here.  Some of my friends want you in their stomachs.”
He held out his hand with Nero on it, and the human saw a female dragoness in front of them, a massive green beast with creamy white scales.  “Nauvra,” Draco said, “this is the human I was talking about.  He makes a fantastic belly pet—I think you’ll find him absolutely lovely.  Take care of him, won’t you?”
Nauvra licked her lips, then licked Nero’s chest, letting out a /mmmm!/ of pleasure.  “Oh yes, he does taste good,” she purred, looking into Nero’s eyes.
“And I’m not letting something that tasty get away from me.”
