Richard yawned, and leaned back in his chair with a sigh. Soon, his shift would be over at The Little Pet Shop, and he could go home.
Sure, the evening block at the pet shop could be boring—not much happened to these animals at night, after all. But it was easy money for him, watching these animals snooze and snore. Plus, he loved the strange assortment of creatures at this shop, and watching them was a delight.
He hadn’t been there when it happened, but word from the guy in the previous shift was that the shop had acquired a strange new creature, some kind of lizard or iguana that was absolutely /huge/. Richard couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of the animal, see it in all its splendid glory. And good luck to whatever person decided to adopt the enormous thing. . .
He glanced over at the CCTV cameras, checking them once again for signs of trouble. Nothing was wrong so far—nearly all the animals were asleep by now, except a few who were stirring about, but at least they were /trying/ to sleep and not causing a ruckus. And the loudest animals, such as the African Greys and Cockatoos, were already dozing off, their heads pressed sweetly in their backs, not making a peep. Richard let out a happy sigh and looked away from the cameras for a moment. Picking up his coffee, he took a long sip, and then went to check the other camera monitors.
The dogs and cats were sound asleep, snoozing away. Sure, there were a few twitches here and there, but nothing severe. And there certainly wasn’t a robbery in progress—Richard checked the front of the store, and saw the door was still bolted and locked tight. After switching to the back door’s camera, he saw that, too, was sealed. Nobody was getting in here, that was for sure—at least, not until the end of his shift in the morning.
In the back room, the rodents and lizards were also sound asleep, thankfully—they could get energetic sometimes. But they were dozing off, which was pretty lucky, and Richard breathed a sigh of relief. After taking another sip of coffee, he turned his eyes toward the monitor again.
He checked one of the cameras, near the parrots—and that’s when he noticed a strange sight.
One of the cockatoo’s cages was open, and the bird was completely gone! Astonished, Richard checked the entire area, and quickly looked at the front and back doors again. There was nobody to be seen, and everything was still locked. . . Did the bird manage to get itself out? Considering the intelligence of parrots, Richard wouldn’t be surprised—but it was going to be a pain if the bird started causing a ruckus and woke up everyone else. He had to find it!
He looked over at the rodent and lizard room—and was surprised to see some of them were gone too! Where had they gone? And there was a cage—which read /Lou Goanna/ on the nametag—near the back he hadn’t noticed until now. It was big, and it was open. . . Shit. Checking the doors again, he saw they were still sealed—had a robber perhaps hidden somewhere in the store, waiting until closing time to strike? No, he would have noticed them by now. Wouldn’t he?
Frantically, Richard switched to the camera for the dogs and cats. The pets had to be somewhere!
And that’s when he saw the predator.
Standing in front of one of the Labrador’s cages was an enormous lizard—iguana? Lizard?—currently in the process of gulping down the dog. The creature’s belly was squirming with the struggles of other pets, and as the animal slipped into its mouth and down its throat, the creature licked its lips, and sauntered on its way.
Richard stood up from his chair, staring at the monitor in pure awe. The lizard was seriously big, about six feet total in length, and was decorated with various colors. A purple shade covered the top of the creature, whereas its underside was a dark red hue. Its legs, which also had three claws capable of grabbing like hands, were a brighter orange, and the creature was decorated with black stripes here and there, completing its appearance. This was clearly the creature from the big cage: this was Lou Goanna.
As he watched, the squirming of the pets slowed down in the lizard’s belly, and soon, they stopped altogether. Then their mass was added onto the beast, packing some more chub onto its already-large stomach. Not yet satisfied, the iguana sauntered off, seeking out more prey to consume.
Richard’s heart skipped a beat. This was not just some pet, or just some lizard: Lou Goanna was a predator, pure and simple. And as one who had always known deep down he was prey, his heart filled with desire. He wished he was that Labrador, getting gulped down by the lizard. He wanted to. . .!
No. There was nothing to “want” now—his opportunity was, at least, right in front of his face! He knew what he needed to do, and he was going to do it before he lost his chance.
Richard reached out and unlocked the door to the security room, opening it just a crack. Then he quickly began to strip.
The human took off his shirt, showing his bare chest, and then removed his pants and underwear, revealing a cock that was already eagerly hard. He was now completely undressed, fully exposed, and he hoped the prayed that the lizard outside would catch his scent and come in. And so, Richard patiently waited, glancing at the monitors once in a while to watch Lou Goanna’s progress.
The lizard navigated to cages here and there, gulping down pets and adding to its chub. Then it started walking down the hallway to the security room—was it coming for him? Richard’s heart skipped a beat, and at the sound of the door creaking open, he turned and saw the iguana had arrived.
Lou Goanna was bigger in person than on camera, a massive predator specimen that could clearly take on Richard. Large in stature, long in length, this was no small eater. He could also hear it humming a catchy tune under its breath, and for some reason that made Richard want to get inside its mouth—/now/.
The iguana turned toward Richard, and immediately started drooling, its long, forked tongue tracing over its lips. The human smiled, and stretched out his legs, inviting the predator to eat him.
The lizard came forward, and gave his toes a lick. Immediately, its beady eyes lit up brightly, and it opened its mouth, winding its tongue around the feet. Richard was going to get his wish.
The human felt every moment as his feet were savored, lapped up like candy for the massive iguana. His heart skipped a beat. He was finally being treated like the meat he knew he was. And that meant Lou Goanna was going to. . .!
/Gulp./ The creature swallowed, and sent the feet of its meal into the throat. Richard felt the insides of the esophagus: it was warm and slippery, and his feet slid inside very easily. He noticed that as he was being eaten, Lou Goanna was still humming his tune, the sound muffled by the prey in his mouth.
His legs were licked all over before another swallow sucked them inside, getting Richard in up to his knees. His feet went further down that warm, soft throat, and his legs were introduced to it, the esophagus clamping firmly around the meat. The human realized that he wasn’t that far in at this point—he could easily escape, pull his legs out of the lizard and run out of the security room, locking the door.
But where was the fun in that? No, he was feeding himself to Lou Goanna because he wanted to be food, not because he wanted to feel the thrill of escaping. More than anything, he knew he was meat. And finally, a hungry lizard was treating him like the meal he was.
/Slorp./ Lou Goanna gulped Richard’s knees down, reaching his upper legs. He was starting to get pulled out of his position on the chair. No longer was his back firmly against it; instead, he was now at a angle as he slid into the iguana’s mouth, headed right for that hungry maw. And growling stomach. Speaking of which. . .
He noticed, suddenly, that his feet were no longer inside that strong, warm throat. Now they were inside a much wider, open space, one that made Richard’s heart skip a beat from excitement. He was finally reaching the stomach, the place he knew he was destined for all along. And he could feel Lou Goanna tugging him in deeper, wanting more of the meal to be in his belly. . .
The lizard swallowed again, and Richard’s hips, ass, and cock were slurped inside, treated just like any other part of the meal—nothing more, nothing less. His legs slipped further inside Lou Goanna’s beautiful stomach—he was in there from his feet to his knees, and when Richard moved them, he could see little bulges where they were sitting. He wondered how much he would fill up the massive lizard, and hoped from the bottom of he heart he would make a big, fulfilling meal for the creature.
Another slurp, and he was in up to his stomach, his arms sealed in at his sides. Richard gasped as all of his legs entered the stomach—yes, he was truly nothing but food now, fuel for the lizard’s belly, a meal to be savored and digested. He relished that thought, let it simmer in his brain as his stomach was tasted and prodded like the rest of him, that tongue wrapping and exploring its meal. He could almost swear Lou Goanna was /smiling/ at him—was the creature enjoying eating him as much as he was enjoying being eaten? As an obedient, eager prey, he truly hoped he was giving his predator the best possible experience.
The next swallow sucked in his stomach, and now just Richard’s chest, shoulders, neck, and head were poking out of that ravenous mouth. His hips emptied into the belly and bulged it out—he was truly filling his predator up! The human realized that now, he couldn’t even escape if he wanted to—he was too far in! Lou Goanna had claimed him as prey, and he was going to finish him. Richard wiggled eagerly, impatiently wanting to be in that stomach, and he could swear his predator let out a /laugh/ between hums. Perhaps the lizard was amused by his eagerness.
/Gulp./ Richard’s chest was pulled into that hungry maw, and now just his shoulders and head were left to eat. He was so close now. . .! He took a moment to feel everything: that tight throat that squeezed his midsection and arms; the stomach which growled around his form, impatiently wanting the rest of its meal; the tongue that wrapped and re-wrapped around his chest, licking and tasting him with hungry fervor. This is what it was to be eaten—this is what it was to be food. And he was loving every single second of it. This was his life now—no, this is what his life was leading up to. He was finally here. “Eat me. . .” he muttered.
A sudden swallow slurped up his shoulders and head, and suddenly, Richard was inside that gaping mouth. He laughed as the tongue danced over his face, rubbing against his cheeks and tossing his hair, even squeezing inside his ears for a quick taste. No part of him was spared—every inch of him was tasted, like the food he was. Just one more gulp, and. . .!
/Glllk./ His head was pulled out of the wet mouth and into the warm, tight throat. He felt it squeeze around his face, pressing against him and forcing him to descend, bit by bit, toward the stomach. The human closed his eyes and let out a relaxed sigh, loving the sensations around him. Soon he would be there. Soon he would be home.
It seemed to take forever, but finally, he felt his neck leave the confines of the throat, and enter a more open space, one that growled eagerly to welcome its prey. First the rest of his neck entered it, then his chin fell inside, and finally the rest of his face came into the stomach. He felt it for the first time, and let out an amazed gasp.
The place truly was alive, lit up with moving walls and deafening growls. Even the floor was shuddering underneath him, and he could feel liquid gathering there. Though Richard was forced to curl up into a loose ball, a position that felt slightly uncomfortable, he didn’t really mind. He was finally /here/, the place where prey like him belonged. And that was all that really mattered.
Richard hugged himself and closed his eyes, listening to the churns of the belly. Soon he, like the other snacks, would add onto the lizard’s form, become chub for the creature. And he was desperately looking forward to that moment.
So the human eagerly waited for his fate, as the stomach churned around him.
__________
Lou Goanna continued humming his tune as he swallowed the last of the human, feeling the meat slip down his throat and into his stomach, bloating it out more than ever before. The lizard licked his lips, tasting the last of the sweet flavor of his meat, and then took a moment to lie down, patting his large belly. This ravenous consumption had led to such a scrumptious snack—and after taking a moment to relish it, he waddled off in pursuit of more food..
He really needed to eat humans more often—if he had known he was capable of consuming them, he would have devoured the ones who had captured and caged him for sure. Perhaps if they returned, he could get his revenge, have two new meals. Could his stomach even fit two humans? Well, it was definitely worth trying. . .
His belly churned around the meat inside him, and he knew he would soon begin to digest. The lizard rolled around happily as his meal started to break down, becoming nutrients for the beast. The bulge that held Richard shrunk down, and became an extra layer of pudge on Lou Goanna’s body. He patted it with pride. The human was nothing more than his fat now. Now what else could he add to his gargantuan form—
“BUUUUURP!” The lizard surprised himself with a large belch—he hoped that didn’t wake up any of his other meals. To his surprise, something came shooting up out of his stomach, and rocketed out of his mouth. The creature caught it with one paw, and realized he was looking at the skull of the human he had devoured.
He tossed the skull back into his maw and swallowed it, sending it back to his belly. It growled in delight upon receiving the bones, and quickly churned it up. Soon, it was added to his form, giving just a /bit/ more chub to the spot the human had added to. Lou Goanna smiled, patting his stomach.
But he was still very, very hungry. And there were plenty more meals in this place to be consumed. Perhaps it was even a blessing he had been captured, brought to a shop like this. Because it gave him so much more meat to eat, so many choices for a hungry predator to pick. Not to mention they were all asleep, helpless to his approach.
And so, the lizard resumed his walk around the store. He was ready to strike.
One by one, the animals in The Little Pet Shop were devoured by Lou Goanna. He ate parrots, chopped on guinea pigs, chowed on cats, dined on dogs. He was a crafty lizard, able to use his claws to either break into cages or unlock them, so no animal was safe from his pursuit of food.
Not even the other predators of the store were safe. The lizard slurped down all the snakes in the reptile and rodent room, sucking them in like noodles. From ringnecks to anacondas, he ate them all, devouring the like nothing. Because, to the apex predator, they /were/ nothing—nothing but food, that is.
He slipped each one into his waiting maw, and gulped them down, letting them fill his belly. At first his stomach was just its regular size, chubbed up a bit from the previous meals, but still normal. Then his gut began to expand as he ate more food, bloating more and more as he consumed his meat. And then, finally, his belly was absolutely huge, dragging on the floor as he walked, truly something to behold. By the time he ate the last pet in the store, it was absolutely massive.
Lou Goanna sighed and lay on the floor, letting out burp after burp as his squirming prey digested. Animal by animal was broken down by his strong gut, and they each added to his already-large mass, giving him more fat and chub than ever before, increasing his size piece by piece. By the time the last one was broken down, the lizard was at his biggest, and he was loving it.
The iguana licked his chops. That had been an excellent meal—the human was an especially exquisite dining experience, one he looked forward to having again. He made his way over to the back door of the place, and gently started fiddling with the locks.
Soon he would be out. And then he could search for more meals. . .
