Finally have a new update for this...

You guys remember when I first teased this in a previous post?

And then I eventually posted this as an update...

And then you guys never got an update on this project since that day?

Yeahhhh so the whole time I've been waiting on the artist to send me any progress updates and after asking for 8-9 months I finally have at least a bit of an update on it.

This is still page 1 as you can see, but basically the artist is revamping it with a better look & style and then is supposed to continue working on it with this new look. I like this new look much better than the previous, what do you guys think?

To everyone who subbed specifically for this project many months ago, I'm sorry that it's taking so long. I honestly don't know wtf was happening with the artist not sending me anything. If I showed you all my DMs with the artist you would see sooo many messages of me asking them for updates every single month and getting broken promises in return. On top of that I can see he's been taking new commissions but hasn't been updating me on mine AT ALL. I would think if you got $600 for a commission that you would take it a little more seriously and actually work on it... It's been stressful because I have been super close to just cancelling this thing but I wanted to hold on and keep trying because I know a bunch of you guys would love this a lot. But it does suck that it's been nearly a year and we're not even past Page 1. We're actually RESTARTING Page 1 (basically going backwards) and yet someone else was able to draw an entire 20-page comic for our Martsie project in a few months time AND update me on a regular basis.

I'm super annoyed to say the least because not showing a progress update when being asked for months just shows that nothing was being worked on this whole time. If the artist actually continues to finish this then I'll be happy knowing the money didn't go to waste. Based off my experience with him for the past 8-9 months though, I'm not FULLY confident in him finishing it, but i'm still willing to give them one more chance for you guys. However, if he stops sending me updates after this then I'm saying "fuck this", cancelling this entire project, and finding a way to get that money back.

Once again I'm sorry everyone for the ridiculously long wait. This whole thing could've been done so long ago. It could've been something to watch while I continue work on the Martsie project. Man this is so disappointing.

One more chance... that's all I'm giving it.
