Dreams? A post about Dreams.

Call me a sap. But today the family and I were out at a massive Flea Market. And I came across a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Artbook. It was in a stack of CDs, so somebody didn’t know what it was.

Anyway, the thing I loved most was at the back of the book: a picture of the team that worked on the game.

And I got all sappy. Because I’ve always dreamed of starting my own game studio, and creating something with a team of people who’s dreams all together meant more than my own.

Which is kinda what this VN means to me: If I can make this work, with talent other than my own, then I can continue on to make episode after episode, eventually leading to my own studio. Where I can hire other would-be designers, writers, actors, animators... and we could all share our stupid, irrational dreams together.

I want to see many people succeed. I want to be in a position where I can make this happen. Even if, at the end of the day, I’m no richer in the bank than when I started.

But I can’t take money with me when I go anyway...

Or maybe I think about that too much.
