CHILDREN OF GANT - Delayed + Apology (And Opening ANIMATION STILLS!)
Added 2022-03-24 04:02:31 +0000 UTCI'm messaging you all to apologize: I will not be able to finish the first chapter by the end of this month. Had I stuck to the Visual Novel Plan: IT WOULD BE DONE!
But, as most of you know me by now: I always want to try and do something bigger and more of a challenge. Even when it comes to commissions.
So, with this project, I tried to forego gaming, going to the gym, and unfortunately, taking care of myself also took a backseat.
So aside from the week I lost to outside concerns, I lost approximately three to four days of time because I was incredibly burnt out. Saying that: I can get a lot done in a day... but I've learned that I still wouldn't be able to complete this to the level of quality that I, personally, demand. Even without having lost days.
I'd even considered splitting the first episode into two parts... and maybe that's still a possibility. But I'd much rather spend more time on the game- and give you all Patreon updates that are worthy of your time in the meantime.
That means I'll now be posting backgrounds, character sketches and one of the MC's mostly completed walking animations.
As of right now: I am currently inking, coloring and shading the entire opening sequence.
The game, as it stands, may take more than a month to finish up completely.
If you're pissed at me- I understand. So to make up for it, I'll get back to finishing those Final Fantasy pictures for this month!
