Yoko - Character Sheet 2022

As you might imagine, it's REALLY HARD to focus on art when I have to also babysit strangers in my house that are tearing down walls.
So, today I just decided to give some Yoko sketches a go... and realized: I've been holding myself back for years.
What I mean is: I was following a lot of "RULES" and would also spend extra time altering my sketches to meet those "requirements."
So this time... I didn't alter anything... and just... stared at it. And realized: This is exactly how I've always wanted to draw Yoko.
THIS IS HOW SHE'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK. And I'VE BEEN DRAWING HER THIS WAY- but then I "fix it".
PAH!
Such bullshit.
Anyway, this is the artstyle for HIPFC. The characters finally look exactly how I always wanted. In fact, I was making them 3D because I was trying to do what I felt I never could with my own art.
But here we finally are.

Her tall frame, long limbs and flowing pitch black hair and long-skirt are very well accentuated in a fierce and elegant way...two words describing exactly how i see Yoko. I also really like the little splashes of red on her nails, eyes and lips : it evokes both the images of a beautiful delicate flower and a ferocious blood-thirsty fighter. All hail our sexy lanky Queen Yoko ✊
