Skebリクエストで気づいたこと(注意点)

こんにちは。

今回はSkebをやっていて注意すべき点を見つけましたので共有したいと思います。

リクエストする側およびリクエストを受ける側の一助になればなと思っています。

注意点についてですが、翻訳がたまにガバガバなことです。

おそらくですが、URLなどが文中にあると抜けてしまう部分が発生するようです。

1つ目の例です。

ポーズについて書かれているのですが、黄色ハイライト部分が日本語訳ではごっそり抜けています。

正しく訳すと「彫刻が施された大きなカボチャのランタンを両手で持って立っている（URLののポーズに似た）」となります。

この文章がないとかぼちゃを持っていないことになってしまいます。

2つ目の例です。

こちらも一部分が訳されていません。

正しく訳すと「また、参考画像と同様のスリットを入れてください」となります。

これが訳されないとスリットがないチャイナドレスになってしまいます。

【対策】

以上について以下の対策が取れるかと思います。

クリエイター側

・英語を読める方は一度原文を読む

・英語が読めない場合は原文をURLなどを除いた状態で翻訳機を使用する

依頼主側

・URLなどは文中を避ける

これらの対策をすることでクリエイター側も依頼主側もお互い正しく意思疎通できるとは思います。

クリエイター側からしたら相手の望むものを忠実に描いてあげたいですし、依頼主側も意図したものと違うものを受け取りたくはないと思いますので、この内容がクリエイター方や依頼主の役に立てれば幸いです。

今回は注意喚起でしたが、次はイラストなど上げていきたいと思います！

I recently noticed that there is a point to take care while using Skeb, so I would like to share it.

I hope this information will be helpful to both the requester and the request recipient.

One thing to note is that the translation is sometimes being missing.

Probably, this occurs because there is an URL in the middle of the text.

Please see the first example above.

The highlighted part in the picture is not translated into Japanese. I can say the exact same thing to the second example as well.

If that happens that part may not be applied to the illustration you are requesting for, which may result getting a different image from the creator.

To avoid this I think below methods can be taken.

Creator side

・If you can read English, please read the original text once.

・If you cannot read English, use a translator with the original text removed, including the URL.

client side

・Avoid URLs etc. in the middle of the text

(Above are mainly based on non-English speakers)

I believe that by taking these measures, both creators and clients can communicate properly with each other.

From the creator's side, I want to faithfully draw what the other person wants, and I don't think the client wants to receive something different from what they intended, so I hope this content will be useful to both creators and clients.
