The Baby of the Family - Part Fifteen

Scott has to leave the relative safety of his bedroom yet again when his biological father asks to see him. Scott has to contend with yet more embarrassment but maybe it isn't as bad as he thought it would be... It may well be better than what is waiting for him back at home.

Scott needs to mind his mother. He will be much better off in a room more practical for his needs.

I think his mum maybe wants to hold on the those baby years maybe without having to go through all the stuff in tended with that. and yes she could be a bit more compassionate with Scott, but maybe it's just easier to use the bitch forceful mother tactic so Scott complies out of fear maybe not the best way but i guess it's her way or no way! and think maybe he got Huw's hand me downs again and Huw has inherited a big boy room

Nice update. It was good to see our main character actually enjoy himself for once. It’s sad seeing the way his mother treats him. Hell, she could introduce babyish things into his life and still be sympathetic towards him. The story initially talked about his behavior issues, but those went away pretty quickly. It would be nice for him to bond with his mother considering his attitude has changed. You’d think she’d notice the change in behavior and would be nicer. Anymore, it just seems like the mother doesn’t really care about him at all and is constantly cruel in her decision making.

Oh big changes for Scott!

Seems like Scott's father has a much better handle on the situation than his mother who seems hell bent to be a "bitch on wheels". I'm sure Scott's room has become a nursery. And she tells him not to overreact...!!!!???? She obviously has serious problems with the father and she's taking it out on the son. Scott's 18 and mommy doesn't have a say in his upbringing if he wants to leave. I would suspect Scott's growing incontinence may be due, in part, to the stress of his current living situation. Was there a reason given why he cannot move in with his father? I think Scott's excellent relationship with his father, especially in the initial changing scene, was a perfect presentation of the way the situation should be handled - Scott has a physical problem that must be dealt with but it doesn't define him. Hopefully Scott is not scarred by his mother or the rest of her family. Excellent chapter.
