Happy September! 🍂 + new sketch & Webtoon sneak-peeks ✏️

Hello everyone and happy new month! 🧡 Here is a little newsletter for you to start the month 💌

First of all, thank you all so so much for all your sweet comments and positive feedback about our eye tutorial video that I posted this week! 😍 It literally makes me so happy to see you guys posting your studies from the video on instagram and talking about what you've learned, and I am so amazed by all your beautiful art!! It's so much fun for me to create helpful content for you guys 🥰

In other news, here are some sneak-peeks of some things I've been working on :) ✏️

The first sketch you see is a fun pose I wanted to challenge myself with and it felt nice to just draw with some sketchy brushes and give it a pencil-feel :) The next step is to start coloring it and I'll be posting a process video for you all 🧡 I'll be working on that video over the weekend!

I also wanted to show you some more panels from my webtoon comic that I've been working on 🥰 Right now there's a lot of line art that I'm in the process of coloring little by little! You can see some process of how I color my webtoon drawings in last month's studio vlog ✨ 

Lately I've been really enjoying a routine of painting and drawing detailed work during the day and then spending the evenings drawing and coloring my webtoon :) I'm surprised that I'm somehow enjoying so many hours of drawing each day, but after I started working on the webtoon as a separate project I discovered that having more than one outlet for my art actually gives me so much more energy and somehow even prevents burnouts -- I think it's because having different activities that utilize your creativity in different ways is just healthy for your creativity in general, especially if you're passionate about those things 😌 It kind of feels like I'm a bee traveling from one flower to another instead of just sticking to one flower, so it keeps things really refreshing haha :) 

Anywho, tomorrow I'll post our Feature Friday post for the month and also ask you guys for tutorial video suggestions! 💌 My goal for the rest of the week is to start planning for a new step-by-step tutorial for you guys and some other goodies that I'll share soon ☺️
