Here‘s a sketch I’ve been working on today to practice an expression! I love drawing soft expressions a lot so once in a while I like to practice drawing some really expressive faces just to experiment with different moods :) Now that I’ve got some basic line art done I’m going to start coloring her! I’ll show you guys more progress updates soon ☺️✨
In other news, today our poll for this month’s special bonus video closed!! These were the options:
And the video topic that won the vote was… Drawing a Self-Portrait! 😍🥳 This one is going to be SO fun because I’ve never drawn a self-portrait digitally before and my last one was in my sketchbook for a college assignment a few years ago! 🥲🧡 So this week I’m going to start filming the video for you guys! It will be available for all Devoted Dragonfly patrons 💌

The other thing I want to work on this week is brainstorm for this month’s step-by-step tutorial sheet and also plan for a new draw with me video for you guys :) Lots of fun video content happening this month and I‘m excited to dive into all of it 🥰
