This weekend was such a busy one for us! 🙈 I told you guys in my last post that we were going to be working on editing the whole weekend, and we actually completely finished the February studio vlog!! 😍 The video is currently uploading right now as I write this, and I’ll be posting it for all Devoted Dragonfly patrons today! 🥳 In the video I take you guys with me as I decorate the studio space, sketch in a coffee shop, and tour my 5 star animal crossing island! 🌲 We also had a very pretty snow day at sunrise and I’ll take you guys with me on that little adventure too ☺️ there’s sooo much in this vlog and we had so much fun editing it! So stay tuned 💌
Ok now let’s talk about this sketch! ✨ It’s been very rainy today, so I curled up on the sofa with a blanket and my iPad and started sketching a photo study 😌 My goal with this one is to draw a character going off the edges of the canvas on the top and bottom so it feels close & personal — something I don’t do very often! We’ll see where it goes ☺️🌙
My plans for the rest of this week are to draw, write my notes for this month’s tutorial video, and edit the Draw With Me video to hopefully post this week! ✨ I’m excited for all that’s coming and can’t wait to share it all with you guys 🥰
