First of all, thank you so so much for all the positive feedback on my Bubbletober prompt list!! ๐ I canโt wait to start this challenge with you guys and see all your beautiful art! ๐ฅฐ
In other news, I wanted to show you guys a little sneak-peek of my finished painting study, based on a painting by John Singer Sargent! โจ Hereโs the original:
I learned sooo much from this study! ๐ I had never rendered silk fabric before, and I was honestly a little intimidated by the thought of trying to render the shine, plus all the billowy folds ๐ My goal was to study Sargentโs style of rendering because I love how he mixes fine details with simpler rough areas, which is something I want to improve in my work โจ
