Monthly Newsletter: Happy November! 💌 + some sketches & what to expect this month! 🌼

I can't believe we're already in the month of November! It feels like October went by so quickly 🙈Over the weekend I asked you guys to vote for my next drawing and the peach girl won the poll! 🍑So today I've been working on the sketch and I've also been filming the sketching process for a cozy draw with me video 🎥 I'll finish filming the video today so we can get started on editing and hopefully post the video early in the month for you guys! 🥰 🍂
I also wanted to show you a mood board I made this morning with some vibes that are currently inspiring me 🧡 Here it is:
At the beginning of each month I like to take some time in the morning to have a brainstorming session and write down any drawing ideas that come to mind, and also think about the things that are currently inspiring me! I'll spend some time on Pinterest and collect references that match a vibe I'm feeling at the moment, and then create a mood board like this with some of my favorites ✨ I like working this way because it helps me to stay in touch with what inspires me, which usually helps to keep art block away 🙅🏻♀️Art block is different for everyone but for me it always happens whenever I don't feel inspired by anything, so I'll return to this mood board whenever I need a little extra inspiration to keep me going 😌
November is usually when the weather starts to get colder where I live, (I live in North Carolina in the US which is a very warm state for much of the year!) so around this time of year I really love drawing cold weather fashion 🍂I want to improve my skills at drawing clothing, complex poses, and also conveying moods & atmospheres in my work! Emotion can be so tricky to capture so I want to practice it more in my work this month 🥰

I really loved how it turned out and would love to use it on my ipad! thank u lydia, loved the newsletter!
