23/04 - Few more items added since I've relocated to the countryside. Working on my laptop has been okay for the most part, but boy do I miss my dual 28" monitor setup for colours! I have absolutely no clue what the colours really look like as my screen is way more staturated than at home, so I'm leaving all the creative swatch creation till I get back home next week. So apologies if the screenshots are not up to their usual standards π
You'll notice there has been an addition of a fireplace, sideboard and also some new artwork. I love Anthena Calderone's console table in her Brownstone, but I already recreated it for the country collection, so I had to find an alternative. I flicked through her book a few more pages and spotted her second home had the perfect regency style sideboard for the job. I've also put my spin on and simsified the fireplace from her brownstone bathroom too.
Having a good focal point above the fireplace is very important to bring any living space together. I really did consider making a mirror, but the horrendous reflection glitch that currently is in game, pushed me into the direction of artwork instead. I think if I had spent all that time on a mirror and then reflections in the promo shots look awful, I would have wanted to punch something, so I decided to not torture myself this month π
Work on the seating set starts tomorrow π

Happy April!
Here's the first little sneak peek of whats to come next month. The focus will be on items for the living room and the image shows the new coffee table and wallpaper that will be part of the set. This is my first ever wallpaper from scratch and lets just say that isn't my first attempt you are seeing in the image. That one is now in the recycling bin π
I'm treating myself to a change of scenery this week as lockdown restrictions have eased her in England. I'll be working remotely from the countryside for the next week...you never know it might inspire some future items π
