The Apartment: Copenhagen - Part One

A little later than planned, but I'm happy to finally be able to release part one of this set. I really didn't want to rush the colouration process as it is really the highlight of a set like this. I took the opportunity to create a whole new colour palette of colours as the foundation for this set (wood tones match all previous sets). During my research I kept on seeing these amazing pastel colours combined and so I decided to not be afraid to use colour with these items. Of course you can still have those calm neutral interiors, but I do encourage you to try and experiment with a little colour 😉

All items are Base Game compatible and the majority can be found by searching with the keyword Apt Copenhagen in the b/b catalogue. However the walls and floors have to be found manually in their respective categories.
💡Pro Tip: Ceilings can appear very dark in game, but using pendant lighting or uplighters on the wall can reduce this as they cast light upwards. However those gorgeous tiny spot lights we all like to use do not do that job so well.
As per usual textures are linked between similar items, so if you download the unmerged file, make sure to include all items from that family, so the textures appear correctly in your game.

Did you run the Direct X fix from Sims 4 Studio? When The Sims changed the game so that it required D11, it broke a lot of things like wallpapers. Content Management > Batch Fixes > Misc > Update Images for DX11.

But most of the wallpapers broke and show colorful question marks now after the patch update that just came out today, I was curious if there’s a way to fix it or not? I’ve cleared my caches and thumb drive and restarted and redownloaded everything.

2024-09-15 17:11:41 +0000 UTCHi yes sorry CurseForge doesn’t like zips made from a Mac. If you download it from CF manually and unzip to get the package file it will work. Unfortunately CF has to approve all edits, so the new zip file won’t be approved until tomorrow

Second, the detailed door knobs need to fly out of the game and into my home. The wainscoting is sublime, not overwhelming while not understated just perfect. Finally nothing goes better with morning coffee than a bran new set that will go into my current build. Thank you Harrie!!
