A certain couple
Added 2020-05-15 22:43:23 +0000 UTCI've been tossing around this idea in my head about a bunch of "unlikely" couples.
This couple being made up of a rather ditzy girl and a scrawny nerd type guy. Despite these 2 types of people clashing normally these two are supportive of each other. The nerd type guy is very smart but also a bit on the cynical side and interacts with passive-aggressive nerds and people on a daily basis. The ditsy girl is energetic and not shy at all, though she also has to defend herself from accusations of being full of hot air. Their relationship starts after they were randomly paired up for an assignment in high school. The nerd guy wasn't very thrilled about having her as a partner at first. As he did some work the ditzy girl would lavishly praise how smart he was, which got a tad bit annoying at times but hey at least they weren't insults like he's used to. But she then told him how people call her dumb or stupid and it hurts her feelings, especially since she really isn't that great at a lot of deep thinking or mathematics. Understanding how that feels, the nerd type guy assures her that she isn't stupid, i mean, at least she honest and not full of herself, like a lot of other people he knows. and the relationship goes on from there, with the ditzy girl providing him with genuine kindness and warmness, and the nerd guy providing her with confidence and assuredness, which you wouldn't think someone like her would be lacking.
