I laughed at loud at a couple of places in this comic! I love the 'magnet, magnet' unsound affect. BTW, if she is practicing Magnetoing, shouldn't she have some sort of telepath proof helmet on? ;-)

MaxBigfoot

I would love to do that, but I need to figure out a way to draw faster somehow.

Dave Barrack

Sydney's Smugness in the last Picture is OFF THE CHARTS here. That face gave me a good laugh :)

My ONLY complaint with this comic is that it doesn't update often enough for my immediate gratification. Dave, the sooner you can get to 3x a week without compromising quality, so much the better!

Erin Palette

"Boob heft hands" has now been added to my lexicon.

Erin Palette

No not at all. I like to try and stay ahead of stuff like that usually, but time got away from me a little this week. Also considering the length of the beam, you probably wouldn't have something metal wrapped around the very end of it that's sticking into the panel there.

Dave Barrack

Thanks!

Grrl Power continues to be the thing I most look forward to in my inbox - haven't been this happy with writing, art and overall storyline (that Vehemence battle was *EPIC*) in a long time. Keep it coming Dave!

I hope you don't mind the potentially overly critical analysis of your work. Things that that occur to me because your world is so well thought out that minor things like that stand out. But as this comic points out, "complimentary" comments are very much in the eye of the beholder.

Steven Normington

I thought about that briefly when drawing it. Actually I had planned to draw rebar or chains wrapped around the beam, but I ran out of time, and it seemed like a nice to have but somewhat inconsequential detail.

Dave Barrack

I'm assuming Varia is Magnetoing (long e, right?) the steel rebar that is embedded in the concrete beams. I sure hope an engineer has analyzed the stresses involved as that is a lot of weight on a limited amount of surface area. She could be internally damaging the beams without realizing it.

Steven Normington

Yes, I do. New version incoming.

Dave Barrack

Well, including "Ottowa," that's not a record for misspellings for me, but it's close.

Dave Barrack

As someone that lives there, are you sure you don't mean Ottawa? ;)

Mike de Jong

Boob heft motions are a dead giveaway. :D

Julie Nichols

If anybody rags you about "floatation" it's a valid alternate spelling ;-) http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/84218/is-it-flotation-or-floatation "canoing" on the other hand…fairly sure that should be "canoeing", sorry!

Phil Boswell

As always, loving the work.
