Is it weird that when I read Chorius's dialogue, I hear it as being spoken in a very deep British RP accent with a lot of reverb?

Nimrod009

Btw, loved it. But I did stop a sec...

Doug Northcote

Why couldnt that stony/demon guy just say "I lead by example?" It would have made as much sense as trying to give the rest of us brainlock.

Doug Northcote

Well, "exemplar" means "a person or thing serving as a typical example or excellent model." So "Exemplarification" is the act of using someone as an typical example. Perhaps not a standard word, but it is a standard construction for such a word. Basically, the hippopotomonstrosesquipedalian dude is used to it.

Louis Richards

Now I need to know which faction has the Konami Coda as its heraldry.

Erin Palette

Yeah...I'm definitely used to "exemplification"..."exemplARification" is what confused me. :) That's why I asked if it was a spelling oops or just Bulky's way of throwing off Sydney.

Julie Nichols

I think it's pretty clear the Thing is saying that he is quite used to be made an exemple of ("exemplarification" ?) for diverse purposes given his essential nature (thus "axiomatically" ?) but I can't vouch for the existence of the word itself.

Chaddaï Fouché

I would like to point out that the internet doesn't seem to recognize "exemplarification" as a word except where it's been referenced in some French sites or texts...and translating it from French yields the same "WTF is this word" results. I rarely find myself in a position where I need to hunt down definitions to understand something, but this is the first time I couldn't find a definition. :P So Bulky McDemon used a word that -looks- like its roots are "exemplify" and "clarification." A) Was this spelling intentional? B) Am I at all correct about the "root" words, or do I need to guess again? And C) Does it actually mean anything, or was Bulky just trying to make Sydney's brain burn a fuse processing ridiculous vocabulary?

Julie Nichols

Don't worry Syd, it came off the rails a while back. To the point, I don't think her 'train of thought' actually spends long on the rails...
