Of course, she might just be trying to get it down to the ground level in the most controlled/damaging way possible. Once she's not on a collapsing rooftop, she can probably fight with a bit more power. Then again, she might just be thinking "I'm gonna suplex that giant robot through the floor." ;)

As Maxima told Syndey, hitting someone with a car is less effective that simply hitting them with the force that was needed to throw the car. Roofs are not that strong to begin with and this one was severely weakened by having a big chunk of it and the wall sliced away.
