Three pages ago she said "Someone queue up the flashback, I need a minute." And bang, the very next page starts the flashback sequence. :)
2017-09-18 10:46:08 +0000 UTCAt a guess... Something was done to Cooter (without his knowledge) prior to his entering the vault. Tentacles are exploding from his body and deactivating the traps. Meaning that whoever enters next won't be harmed. Other than by the smell. And from what we've seen of Cooter, well... The smell can't be THAT much worse.
