Regarding queue: Sydney knows that she's in a web-comic so she's referring to the sequence of panes that Dave has queued up for the strip. Or someone got caught in a homophone trap.

Do you have vampires who are "not quite ancient" and some that are "really ancient"…OK, I can see *that* one fly but really… ETA: shouldn't it be "*cue* up the flashback"?

2017-09-11 12:43:10 +0000 UTCDepends on the vamp type, I guess. If they are the kind that can only feed on fresh blood, then it would be similar to smelling rotten meat/vegetables as a human. Also, quite a few vampire myths had them abhorring gore, and only able to drink blood. Now, something like the strigoi of Armenia—part undead, part werewolf—would likely be lapping at the walls.
