The intelligence and wisdom stats are linked but not the same thing. Rocks may have obscene wisdom given the length of their lifetimes but have zero intelligence. Dabbler may be the most intelligent being on the planet but clearly not the wisest. See page 592 for reference.

They have complex communication that allows them to convey abstractions of some sort. Whether it is anything like what humans consider language is an interesting question. Bee dances convey abstractions too, but don't meet some of the criteria for language. Carrying information isn't sufficient. Language is a framework.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dabbler. Her humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Dabbler’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Dabbler truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Dabbler’s existential catchphrase “Is all that for ME?” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dabblrt’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Dabbler tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

Humans haven't managed to communicate with orcas and dolphins, who have languages. That they have languages is shown by mathematical analysis that is used in cryptography to tell if a signal is random noise or contains information. The results of an information containing sequence is always the same when graphed out. Anyway, we haven't done this. Dabbler is capable of speaking at least one language that is completely alien to her, with no common origin, namely English. (From the onset it appeared as though she'd be the most intelligent being on earth, unless someone had hyper-intelligence as their power).

By the way, the sqrt(2) thing in the corner = 2
