The thing with polyamory, though, is the whole consensual nature of it. Having it "suddenly" dropped in you (I put quotes around that for this situation alone, since I can only imagine it being sudden in Sydney's case because... well, Sydney), is a different matter. And even if Sydney would consider it, would need to be consensual between the three of them. Otherwise, there be troubled waters ahead.
