I gotta admit. I'm a little disappointed that there wasn't a reference to Police Academy 4 when tiny old Mrs. Feldman tried Tacklebury's .357 and got knocked back a good 50 feet, afterward saying "Damn! That was fun." :)

Joshua Brumley

Probably doesn't help that Sydney probably ways about 45-50kg soaking wet.

Justaguy

Yep, I may not know guns, but I do know comedic plot

Martin Croft

For what it's worth, I've seen someone in real life fall sort of like this after firing a cap gun. For those who are not familiar with them, cap guns do likely have some kick, but it's uncertain if our technology is yet sufficient to be able to measure it. We can probably calculate it, however.

Some Ed

Knowing Sydney, it's a sight gag that she chose. She does have a bit of conscious control of them after all, and the sort of mind who could choose to do this sort of thing.

Some Ed

Interesting that the orbs didn't maintain orbit around Syd's head as she fell. Probably just a sight gag, but its conceivable that could be a way to prevent Syd from using the orbs. Give her a shove, put a titanium wall between her and the orbs so she can't grab any.

Bah! Just a .454 Casull? Shoulda been a .460 just to go completely silly (like a Casull ain't enough!?). Friend has a .460 S&W pistol and .454 is actually reasonably comfortable to shoot through it. And .44 Magnum is very nice in it. Like a .38 in a .357 for comparison. It's also something like over 4lbs. Shooting actual .460 in is stunning, and a bit painful. I shot his indoors and should have doubled up on hearing. Ear plugs and muffs.

Reminds me of my reaction for a .50 Desert Eagle I rented at the range. I was way more "No sir, I don't like it"

Jeremy Jorgensen

People questioning the physics and such need to remember one thing. This is a Comic, if it is funny, who cares about the "real" physics.

Warren Woodard

Takes a couple to really heat up that much, especially with a big ol' revolver

Alex H

Maybe instruction on stance, too, if she fell over that easily.

Stephen Gilberg

yet they did not have her overreaction trait. And I have more than once seen someone hold a pistol too stiff that they got it shot up over their head. Or roll back into their face.

TikkTik

Wondering how she can grab that gun by the barrel moments after it was fired and not burn her hand.

Autistic Observer

Mythbuster busted this before ðŸĪŠ

U.Kaya

The ratings are probably for the explosion of the target. ;-)

Thomas Dorner

Halo needs some instruction on proper grip, that cartrage does not kick THAT much

Alex H

At the speed of "sight gag".

Damaged

Wow, they got those cards together quickly.
